Why is the IP-RELAY.com website sometimes busy?
Occasionally, all Relay Operators are busy handling other calls. A new feature now puts you on hold briefly until a Relay Operator becomes available to assist you.

My call was disconnected during my IP-RELAY.com conversation. How can I reconnect the call and continue my conversation?
We continue to work on improving technology to prevent disconnections. Simply redial the number you previously called and continue your conversation.

What effects my connection to IP-RELAY.com?

There are several things which can impact the speed of your connection including:

  • The type of connection you are using i.e. dial up, DSL or cable.
  • The speed of the processor within your computer
  • An outage or heavy traffic on your Internet providers network (i.e; AOL, earthlink, MSN, etc)


If you experience any of the above you can do some of the troubleshooting on your own, try logging off your computer and rebooting.
